    Quick noobie concern.

I'm planning on reading everything I can to prepare myself to effectively use the Aneros. However, I have one concern. I purchased the Aneros MGX for $50. I am not used to spending that much on stuff like this especially since my financial situation is not good! After purchasing it, I kicked myself for not looking at reviews and opinions of Aneros users. Now that I have read some, I feel that the MGX was not the right model for me. I cannot get a refund from Aneros.com since I didn't purchase it directly...

Anyway, here's my concern. I'm kind of stuck with the MGX model. It's definitely not massaging the perineum, but I read that it can be adjusted. There's also probably a million things I can do better. How do I know if it's hitting my prostate? I don't know if it is.

    Any encouragement is welcome!

    Korkelz,

First off, Welcome to the Aneros Forums,

Secondly, please don't berate yourself for choosing the MGX massager. That model was my first purchase and it remains my favorite model. I believe it is an excellent model with which to learn.

If you have only had a few sessions with your new massager then you are probably still sifting through your initial set of expectations and finding the experience is nothing like what you had imagined. I think this is quite normal. Your plan to do extensive reading on this site is an excellent idea, especially the Aneros WIKI.

It is a familiar refrain to hear new users question whether or not their new massager is actually touching their prostate. It probably is but you just have not tuned into reading your own body language yet. I encourage you to be patient as you begin to tune into your body sensations and give yourself more sessions before considering making model modifications.

I'm a new user too, and I didn't think my helix was touching my prostate either. Then a small continuous flow of semen started to leak out of my penis for awhile during one session. That had never happened to me before, and I knew something different was happening. I just think you have to have faith that something is happening. Has anything leaked out fo your cock? Pre-cum? Cum? Does it feel at all pleasant when it's inside you?

Agreeing with macjim, I'd wager that very few users new to prostate massage can tell with certainty whether a prostate contact has taken place. I didn't, but knew that I was heading in the right direction when I noticed the leak of pre-cum during a session.

    Welcome Korkelz!

I fully second rumel's comments! MGX was my only model for the first year and taught me a great deal! The guys are right, feeling your prostate responding takes time and pre-cum or semen laeking is a good early sign. Eventually you will likely develop the sensitivity to your prostate responding to the massage by your MGX. No worries! Deeply relax, quietly listen for the various little early body signals, allow whatever starts to happen to happen without grabbing for it, and be open optimistic without specific expectations.

all the very best on your journey through prostate awakening and sensational sensations all

I;ve never had precum leak out. I wonder if I even have a prostate.
Any advice on my quest for penile pleasure?: http://www.aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3774

In spite of feeling great prostate contact with the Aneros massagers, especially my Eupho, I have basically no precum output outside of an occasional drop or two. Been at it 7 months now and had my first Super-O a couple weeks ago, don't know what made it come that time either. Have made it almost there a couple other times, but in all cases completely dry.

I'm sorry to be posting about this before I even had a chance to fully explore it, but I'm excited to share the experience. My last aneros session brought just about every feeling I've been reading about in the "Aneros Basics" (Wiki - "What It Feels Like"). Feeling sensual, happy, having large muscles shake, also some butterfly-like abdomen feelings, wanting to vocalize involuntarily; just not orgasms or intense feelings. I wanted to explore this further but my woman needed sleep so I cut the aneros session short. Let me explain...

I feel like a lot of what I felt was because of my imagination (imagining the aneros working and responding as if it was) and also somewhat forcing muscles to shake as a way of pretending/responding as if the aneros was working. Also somewhat pretending I wanted to vocalize involuntarily. I felt that as my imagination became more intense, the feelings became more intense and caused a feedback loop of imagination and feelings. I also felt that I was able to let my muscles shake involuntarily to a small degree.

To explain "forcing muscles to shake": I was using a position which I have no prior knowledge of this position or technique being used; so I want to get feedback from you guys just incase it's totally wrong to do. I also need more time to explore it fully. So here's what I was doing. Laying on my back I positioned my legs so I could raise my pelvic area kind of like this: [image- click here] (except butt was slightly off the bed, back was fully on the bed). I then tensed my muscles (above the knee and below the stomach) in such a way that seemed to bring on involuntary shaking... hard to explain that one; like... being in that position and tensing muscles causes extra involuntary shaking if you "let it".

At this point it's hard to say if my imagination was doing most of the work or if the aneros had something to do with the physical feelings or not, or if this position/technique just brings on physical responses. If anything, it was putting my mind in the right state which I read is important, so that's good. After the session, most of these feelings lingered, a little bit of abdominal fluttering/butterfly-llike sensations as well.

    What do you guys think?
