A little progress

A had another session last night and I think I made a little headway.

Thanks to those who have commented on my blog entries so far, I have done my best to act on what you have suggested. I have switched on to the fact that I have been trying to rush into all this too fast and I have been going at my previous sessions at a pace to try and 'force some progress out of it'. This, of course, is not right. So last night I changed tack and took things nice and slow.

Previously I had been just using my sphincter muscles to move the aneros, doing so with rapid contractions, almost hammering away at my prostate to try and get it to do something. This time, I tried not to use my sphincter at all and just concentrate on PC. Tensing it and holding it there for as long as I could in order to practice. After about an hour I started to feel the beginnings of some very pleasant feelings that would start off at my prostate but would then feel stronger down the backs of my thighs. Though I tried to focus on what I was feeling I soon lost it and decided to call it a night.

I will continue with PC muscle practice next time round and replicate the slow pace I did last time. Just to think, I never even acknowledged that muscle until joining this community!

A Small Series of Sessions

I'm still alive, and I have used my aneros on a handful of occasions since my last entry. I had wanted to keep this blog up to date after every session but life has been so hectic that it's not been possible. Anyway:

After my first session, for the following couple of weeks I had been experiencing pretty intense prostate sensations while driving. I do quite a bit of driving as part of my job, around 200 miles a day sometimes. The vibrations from the car on the road were causing my prostate to feel 'hard' in the same sort of way as I mentioned in my last entry, except the feelings were much stronger. They would happen fairly regularly with around 15-20 minutes between each burst. The feeling is nice, but is quite a distraction when you're supposed to be concentrating on something else!

The following sessions I had put in were all quite short unfortunately, I simply didn't have enough time to make much of them. And on a couple of occasions I actually fell asleep through a combination of being so tired from working and being so relaxed from the session. I have questions that I took away from what I experienced though:

The first is one that I carry over from the last blog entry, which is that when I insert the aneros it really doesn't feel like it's pushing against my prostate at all, it's almost like it's not there. Can anyone confirm that this is normal? I had been expecting its presence to be a lot more noticeable.

The second is a query surrounding irritation to the skin around the sphincter. I have found that after about an hour it seems to get uncomfortable, even though I use a fair amount of lube. It seems to be because of the comparativly rigid part of the aneros between the handle/p-tab and the stem. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you get around it?

That's all for now, I really hope I get to put some more sessions in soon. I'll try to keep this blog better updated in future too.

My first session

So, yesterday morning my Helix arrived safe and sound and I decided to try it out straight away! Taking advice from the wiki, I went to the bathroom then used plenty of lube before insertion and gave myself time to relax after the initial excitement of what this journey might bring!

I inserted the Helix and could feel it pressing against my prostate, I now understand that 'needing to crap and pee at the same time' sensation. But that didn't last for long. I didn't do anything much for 10 minutes or so, just let the aneros sit there for the time being.

After that point I started contracting my sphincter muscles, I continued doing so in a regular fashion for the duration of my 2 hour session. During that time I experienced a number of things. The first was after half an hour or so, I secreted a couple of beads of pre-cum, my penis was pretty much inert the whole time so this was a new thing for me! I experienced a few muscle twitches in my thighs. I also felt a dull tense sensation across my lower belly/rectum area on a couple of occasions, certainly nothing intense, but noticeable none the less.

After a short while of doing these contractions, I realised that I couldn't feel the helix pressing against my prostate any more, it almost didn't feel as if it was there at all. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? I have tried anal play before now and I had got it into my head that I would be able to feel the aneros against it the whole time during the session. I even went as far as to attempt adjusting it a couple of times to make sure it was positioned right.

After the two hours were nearly up I decided to call it a day, I thought I might just finish off with a traditional orgasm just to see what would happen. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I ejaculated much more than I ever had before, probably 3 times as much as I am used to. The orgasm itself wasn't amazing though.

During the rest of the day, there were a few moments where I could feel my prostate exhibiting a sort of 'hard' feeling. It's difficult to describe, but I've not felt that kind of thing before (at least not while just sat down not doing anything) so I put that down to the session too.

Overall I think I am happy with my first session. I have taken the first steps into what promises to be a very interesting journey of discovery into my own body.

All comments are welcome :)
